Recommendation to Parents
REMEMBER :-

Out of 24 hours in a day, a child spends approximately 6 hours in the school. The remaining 18 hours are spent in the company of his/her parents. Apart from the teachers and the school, parents are the greatest teachers of the child at home. A child learns to admire and appreciate others and his/her behaviour in the school reflects the atmosphere at home. Parents have greater roles in transforming their children to be better citizens of tomorrow.

  • In order to secure all that is best in the education of your child maximum co-operation between parents and the school management is desired. The school and the home are temples of education for any intending student. The encouragement given to a student by parents/guardians makes a world of difference. The principal and the staff require the cooperation of the parents to ensure that.
  • Students must bring their school diaries, text books and note-books according to the timetable and keep them in good condition.
  • Parents/guardians must understand that the school belongs to their children and should not indulge in causing disrepute to the management. Parents should avoid dictating terms to the management but are always most welcome to give suggestions for the improvement of the school.
  • Parents and guardians are to familiarize themselves with the school and should try to adjust according to the timings of the school. They should check the school diary of their sons/daughters every day and enforce regularity and discipline at home and see that their sons/daughters prepare their lessons and do the assigned home work. Remarks in the diary should be taken note of, countersigned and there after follow up should be done. If it is borne in mind, parents will perceive improvement in their children.
  • Parents must cooperate with the school authorities to make their sons/daughters attuned to punctuality, discipline, personal cleanliness and preparation of daily lesson
  • Parents are requested to sign the notes entered on the Principal's or Teacher's Remarks Page of the diary or the official circulars, test and examination results or any other important document. At the time of promotion, the diary must be submitted for checking in undamaged condition.
  • Parents/guardians who will sign the remarks or leave record in the school diary must submit specimen signatures at page one. It should be checked by the parents/class teachers from time to time to ensure that their sons/daughters do not take liberty to forge their parents' signature.
  • Parents must meet the teachers with their sons/daughters during the parent-teacher meeting. It is deemed as a working day and failure to do so will lose that day's attendance. Parents shall not come to meet teachers on any other working day except when there is an urgent or immediate reason
  • Parent/guardians shall not visit their sons/daughters or any teacher during the class hours without the express permission of the Principal.
  • If you have any legitimate complaint regarding the school matter please inform the management instead of passing uncharitable remarks and comments.
  • Uninformed absence from class for more than 15 days will cause cancellation of the names from the attendance register and a readmission will have to be sought for.
  • A student who is ill or suffering from any communicable disease shall not be brought to the school even if it is for an examination. On recovery he/she must render a medical certificate that certifies him/her fully recovered.
  • Should parents feel that their children are not making the desired progress, they should contact the principal.
  • Criticism of a child's teacher in their presence should be strictly avoided, because it causes the child to lose respect for their teacher with the consequent failure to learn from him or her. Parents should see the principal if they have any legitimate complaint.
  • During college hours parents are not allowed to see their children or interview teachers or visit the classrooms or walk about in the college premises.
  • In case of any infections and contagious disease the college Principal should be informed.
  • The college gates shall be closed with the assembly bell. If for any reason, a child is late, ensure that the child is not left unattended outside the gate, we take no responsibility for children remaining outside the closed gates.
  • There are parents / Guardians who bring tiffins, text books, copybooks and SUPW materials to the office so that it can be given to the concerned students. This causes great inconvenience to the office and is a big disturbance to the class. This will not be allowed.
  • We want the school campus to look green, neat and tidy, no damage to its plants and masonry work is allowed. Hence no outsiders shall be permitted in the school campus.
  • We expect your children to consider the school property as their own and value it with high esteem for the good of all.
  • When your child is unwell or unable to attend class, please do not send him to the school. Your child's health is very important. Please send a leave application, a medical certificate or valid reason for the same.
